Pre-season ramblings
So, this very web site is advertising a ‘light’ training session this Sunday is it? A Light session is it? Why is the team and its coaches discriminating against the offensive linemen? Will we be holding our very own ‘heavy’ training session then? I suggest a pub crawl around Stourbridge Saturday night, driven to each pub by Precious’ team of dray horses from the Bonkseys brewery. What do you think?
The real training draws ever nearer and so with it the season. It will be nice to lose to some of the old teams again, like Bulls and Senators. A pithy loss against Neil and the Wolverines and Chester is also on the cards, but most of all I am looking forward to being thrashed by a new team (to us) the East Kilbride Pirates. I havn’t been on the end of a really good shafting for years - not since that short stay at Swinfen Hall young offenders institute.
