Quarter Finals (return of the return of the dark side...)
The quarter finals saw us up against a very different Nottingham Caesars. Different perhaps because it looks like they might have drafted in about twenty ringers for the game? It didn't help them much 'cause we beat 'em anyway. The game itself was relatively clean until I ended up in some sort of fight. At the end of the match their middle linebacker came and shook my hand but forgot the apology that should have gone with it - I guess he was in a rush to get to his end of season party!
Dobbo returned to the team to sample some playoff glory. Now, this season has been relatively free from assassination attempts, but there is something about Dobbo's presence that brings out the dark side in Beggy. I myself have suffered a studding down the RIGHT calf, not to mention my knee getting twisted. Dobbo himself saw Beggy stamping on his foot - It was such a blatant attempt to injure a fellow lineman that the Begster was forced to admit his guilt!
Tony Foy and Precious both suffered back injuries which we can now (with the aid of D.N.A. evidence) put down to Beggy too. I think that we should instill some sort of 'on the spot' fine to deter any further injury attempts. Something harsh. Something major as a deterrent. How about… a pie to each player on the line for every injury caused? That's right; let's hit him where it hurts!
The strangest thing was Treths new hairstyle. It was a carbon copy of Po from Telletubbies! Eh-Oh!
