When I began this ‘tales from the trenches’ thing, little did I know that I would receive literally one e-mail in response.
Magnum, sorry, Precious believes that Ross Kemp would be the best actor to play him in the upcoming motion picture based on my life. I think this is a pretty decent call, but will his Cockney accent go quite so well with Steven Segals’ Yankee one? Only time will tell I suppose.
Now, I told you all that I couldn’t make training this week due to work commitments - I wasn’t telling you the whole truth. Last week I got a call from my old mate Joe Gibbs who asked if I would come to The States to run my eye over the Washington Redskins Offensive line for him. He paid for 1st Class return flights, 3 nights in a 5 Star hotel and then offered me the job as assistant head coach.
Which was nice.
